Well, I don't really have much to update on again. I think I will soon finally be truly registered for all of my classes here. YAY, and only 2 months into classes :)

I am finally starting to have some work in classes, which is helping keep me busy. I also am going to start teaching English at a school here in town, which will keep me busy 3 hours a week and pay about 10 dollars an hour. Not too shabby for just having to speak English. I will start teaching next week... until then, I don't really know much about the job.

I went to a movie theater here in town on Friday that show films in their original languages, albeit with Spanish subtitles. Why is this amazing? Because every television show and movie here, if not originally in Spanish, is dubbed over in Spanish. The voice acting can sometimes be terrible, and I find it difficult to understand what the characters are saying because the mouth movements don't match with what they are saying. Anyway, I went to see Little Miss Sunshine, and it was incredibly funny. My type of humor, definately. Some of the jokes lasted a little long (like the dance scene at the end) but overall, a great film. Recommended.

Other than that, I spent all weekend playing video games. I got really addicted to one, and so it kind of took over my life. I need to remind myself that I can play games when I am the in States. However, there is one kind of cool thing about playing the game. It is an online game, and since I am playing the European version, I was playing with people from all over. One group I was with had someone from Denmark, Italy, England, and even South Africa! It was very cool for me, but routine for them.

Well, I will keep you updated on what happens this week. Stay classy.

First post in a long time!

Sorry for the delay. I am still not used to doing this whole Blog thing. I will try to get better as the year progresses. My goal for now is to write one every Saturday, at the very least. Here's hoping!

Ok, so two weekends ago I was able to go to a bullfight. It was a little disturbing... seeing six bulls get killed in a night was not exactly my idea of entertainment. But I am still glad I went to see it, just so I can know what it is like.

Matador vs Bull... who shall win?

The next week was a little odd. We only had two days of class (Tuesday and Wednesday), and the rest of the days were fiestas (not big celebrations in Valencia, just really days off). So Wednesday night I went to a birthday party, and after that we went to a Discoteca (what we would consider a nightclub). Then, my 5 day weekend started (I never have classes on Monday, so I had a lovely 5 day weekend ahead of me).

So what did I do? Upon waking up Thursday, I didn't feel too good, and by that night I felt rather sick. The next day was the same, as well as the next. I think I ended up getting a flu and a cold at the same time! So my 5 day weekend turned into five days of feeling horrible. I am only today starting to feel better... more than a week after it started.

So, that is one reason I haven't written a blog lately. I have been too sick to want to, as well as I haven't done anything fun recently. Just go to school, come back home, and try to get a good nights sleep. Oh well, I have another 8 months here to make up for lost time.

I will try to make this next week more exciting, and will post something next Saturday. Keep tuned!
